DVD-ROM Drive:
Required to install the product and boot up the ActiveImage Protector Boot Environment.

Note:

ActiveImage Protector Linux Edition supports only x86_64 architectures.
Only the root user, or users belonging to the “Wheel” group can run the ActiveImage console. To run it as other users, run the following command in the terminal.

Backup cannot be directly saved to CD-R / DVD-R, etc., and tape device.

Linux RAID is not supported if RAID is configured by using dmraid.

Windows console for remote management capabilities

ActiveImage Protector Linux Edition comes with ActiveImage Console to provide remote management capabilities and operate ActiveImage Protector installed on Linux system from Windows OS to operate even when X Window is not configured. For a more detailed settings procedures, please refer here.

Only the root user, or users belonging to the “Wheel” group can run the ActiveImage console. To run it as other users, run the following command in the terminal.

Backup cannot be directly saved to CD-R / DVD-R, etc., and tape device.
